Crust & Cocktails is a 55-seat pizza and craft-cocktail room at 1256 Weathervane Lane in Liberty Commons, in Akron’s Merriman Valley. Liberty Commons sits just off Weathervane Lane on the northwest side of Akron, and Crust is the small storefront with the hanging seal out front. Fifty-five seats, a bar you can actually sit at, and a short menu the kitchen can do properly. It is a room built for a two-hour dinner rather than a quick stop, which is why people tend to linger past the plates.

Inside, the room reads warm and close. The bar runs along one wall, the tables sit near enough that a Tuesday feels busy at half full, and the kitchen is small enough that the menu has to earn every line on it. Eight pizzas, eight antipasti, four salads, three panini, one dessert. Nothing is on there to pad the page.
The pizzas are what most people come back for. Margherita arrives under burrata and heirloom cherry tomatoes. Classic Pepperoni gets a drizzle of hot honey over mozzarella and provolone. Truffled Wild Mushroom is built on a creamy white-wine base with caramelized onion and thyme. Braised Short Rib comes over beurre blanc with giardiniera relish and horseradish aioli. Local micro greens finish several of them.
The bar is deliberately unhurried. Craft cocktails are built to order, the wine list runs from a $10 Wildblumen Riesling to a $108 bottle of Caymus, and the beer fridge keeps Peroni, Stella, Modelo and a rotating Great Lakes seasonal alongside cider, seltzer and an alcohol-free option.
For a two-person evening, share a pizza and start with antipasti while the kitchen makes it. The 55-seat room fills quickly after seven, especially on Friday and Saturday.
Around the pizza sits the rest of a proper Italian-leaning meal. Antipasti come first: a charcuterie board built from whatever the kitchen liked that week, meatballs of blended beef and pork in house marinara, crostini with fig jam and goat cheese or with herb-whipped ricotta. Four salads at twelve dollars, three pressed panini on rustic ciabatta, and exactly one dessert, because tiramisu made well does not need competition.

Order online through Toast for pickup, or through DoorDash for delivery or pickup. Or come in, take a seat at the bar or a table, and order from the printed menu. Pizzas are made to order, so a full room means a short wait — plan for it and open with something to share while the kitchen works.

Monday through Thursday the doors open at four and the room closes at eleven. That is the quiet stretch and the easiest time to get the seat you want at the bar. Friday opens at four and runs until midnight. Saturday opens at eleven in the morning and runs until midnight. Sunday is eleven to nine.
Early evening is calm and conversational; after seven on a Friday or Saturday the 55-seat room fills and stays full.
